Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State discussed issues on the Armenia-U.S. comprehensive strategic partnership agenda
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with Riley Barnes, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.
The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of the Armenia-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They expressed satisfaction with the dynamically growing cooperation across various areas outlined by the Partnership Charter.
They exchanged views on continued efforts to strengthen democracy and the rule of law, as well as to promote ties between the societies of the two countries based on shared civilizational commonalities.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Riley Barnes discussed regional developments and programs being implemented to promote economic interconnectedness in conditions of established peace. They exchanged views on possible steps aimed at further strengthening peace. Humanitarian issues were also addressed.
